LobWormsWorms For Fishing - The LobwormLobworms (or Lobbies) are the big worms that are found in our gardens and playing fields. These worms have a large flat tail and are the ones spotted on warm, wet summer evenings laying on top of the front lawn; they are also responsible for 'casts' that litter even the finest of manicured lawns. The Lobworm has become so well established in some parts of the World they are considered to be pests. However, over the years they have also established themselves as one of the finest winter baits for nearly any species of fish - Perch, Chub, Carp, Bream, Zander and Pike all devour as many as they can find, especially after a flood. Not just a Winter bait or one just reserved for use as 'chopped worm' - a favorite of the UK Match Angler, the Lob Worm can be used whole any time of the year and the results are amazing. Even a novice angler will land the specimen that many 'experts' spend most nights dreaming of. Caring for your Lob WormsLob worms can be kept to last a number of sessions and prefer plenty of damp strips of paper and moss in a generous dark container. It is important to keep them cool too. Refrigerated at temperatures of between 6 and 8degC is lob worm heaven!
